Second Grade Bloggers Maddi and Cameron
On Saturday, Maddi, Emani, Ben, Alan and Cameron from Ms. Brott's class went to the Sugar Hill Maker Fest. We were joined by second graders from other class also. At the Maker Fest we showed people the Pro-Bot robots. You can make quadrilaterals, triangles, hexagons , and pentagons with these robots. We use coding to program the robots. All you have to do is type in the numbers to tell the robot to go forward, backward, left, and right.
We also showed the 3-d printed projects designed by White Oak students. Second graders designed plant pots in Tinkercad. Kids visiting our booth could also make ladybug habitats.
We loved the maker fest!
