White Oak's second and third grade STEM Club started bright and early Wednesday morning before school. Twenty eager students arrived ready to take on their first challenge. Students worked collaboratively to create a chair for our owl. The only supplies provided were tape and paper. Students planned their design and got to work. During the building process, students revised and tested their designs. We had lots of excitement at the end of club time as we tested out our chairs. Each group engineered a chair strong enough to support the owl!
