White Oak GCPS Fall Literacy Presenters

On Saturday, October 1st, Kathy Brott and Laura Kimble delivered a presentation on student collaboration to teachers throughout Gwinnett County at the GCPS Fall Literacy Institute. Mrs. Brott and Mrs. Kimble shared with teachers how White Oak Elementary (WOES) has implemented collaborative learning at each grade level. They also shared a teamwork unit 2nd grade implemented to foster appropriate communication and collaboration. Many attending teachers shared that they attended because they saw teachers from our school were presenting and they had heard about the good things happening at WOES.
