First graders are learning about severe weather. During Inquiry Special, students gathered information about their chosen type of severe weather. Students sat with their project groups and compared findings. As they researched, students answered these questions: How would you describe this type of weather? What makes this type of weather dangerous? How can people stay safe during this weather? Students used Gwinnett County Public School's Online Research Library and Pebble Go. This research will help students go public as they create public service announcements to tell others about severe weather.
