The Lanier Cluster of schools hosted a Maker Fest in Sugar Hill on Saturday. White Oak's booth showcased a few student projects, as well as QR codes linked to more student work. Children stopping by the White Oak booth had the opportunity to make a binary code initial bracelet. This "unplugged" activity from code.org is one example of a coding introductory lesson. This was a great community event - plan on attending next year if you missed it!
