Fifth graders are currently working through a video production unit with stop motion videos as their focus. In Inquiry Art they are tapping into their understanding of figurative language (a 5th grade AKS), specifically idioms. They can use a variety of mediums, like modeling clay, paper cutouts, white boards or drawing to illustrate a visual representation of an idiom. These moving are sure to knock your socks off! Our 5th graders sure are the cat’s meow! (idioms used intentionally there) :) Look for videos to be completed in the next couple of weeks!
