Our kindergarten students researched American symbols this week in Inquiry Special to support their social studies learning. Partners used QR codes to access research information about the American flag, Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, bald eagle, and the White House. After learning some new facts about these symbols, each student chose one American symbol to illustrate. By the end of the week, each class had its own iMovie featuring their American symbol illustrations!
