First Grade Makers Ace 100 Cup Challenge and MakerSpace

First Grade was introduced to the WOES Makerspace this week and while students explored the Maker Space Room others took on the 100 Cup Challenge. The task was to work as a team to build a structure with just 100 cups. First grade students recently finished a unit on Fairy Tales and several groups decided to build Cinderella's castle. The new WOES MakerSpace boasts three vertical spaces including a Lego Wall, Design Board and Velcro Wall.
