Not a Box, written and illustrated by Antoinette Portis, sparked the imagination and creativity of White Oak's first graders this week during their Inquiry Special time. As an introduction to the upcoming Inquiry Special Design Thinking unit, students brainstormed about what it means to use their imagination and creativity. After students had time to create their own "not a box", they shared their imaginations with their classmates.
